10 hp Evinrude 1960 model. None of my diagrams show a gasket between the exhaust-housing and the lower-unit, and I found none there when I dissambled them...but there is a gasket shown "for the exhaust housing cover plate screw". Is this thing supposed to be sealed from water or not? Seems...
So is my 10 hp Evinrude a 1960 or 1962 model? The mounting bracket says #10020, the engine "freeze plug" says #10024. I want to order the right service manual. Or is there not much difference between the 2 years?
