OK, everyone was right about the transom being bad on my '71 Caravelle. After further checking the transom is bad too. Now what? Need some pics on removal then replacing. Will post pics this weeken on both the stringers and the transom.
Just found out my good deal wasn't so good. After removing what I thought was the bad deck flooring, I discovered the original flooring underneath. All rotted along with stringers and heavy (waterlogged ?) styrofoam. Need to know what to use for new stringers, new styrofoam, and some sort of...
