    night fishing lights

    I have a 20' bass buggy pontoon that we love but i wanted to place a 8" offroad light on a pole facing the rear for night fishing similar to the ones used on commercial fishing boats but the fog lights i mounted on the front for dock lights are very very dim even with the motor running, any ideas?

    1986 115 2 stroke rebuild

    1986 60 hp WOT?

    I have a 1986 60 hp 2 stroke merc that i maybe only able to get 6-7 mph per my GPS and no more than 2 1/4 rpms out of is this right? the motor is on a 20' suntracker pontoon with two people on it, and seems to be choked out when i give it more gas don't know if it is too much air or too little...

    1986 mercury 60 hp leaking oil??

    I have an 1986 60hp merc 2 stoke outboard that always has a half dollar sized oil spot after firing it up and it's cooled, it is leaking out of the exhaust in the center of the prop and it's very black. Is this a gas mixture or carb issue??

    speedometer help

    I bought a 1987 20' bass tracker bass buggy pontoon used and have since added a new motor but the speedometer never worked, checked voltage and 12v across the board, but what is inside the small vacuum looking line going to the back of the boat?

    1988 60 hp merc 2 stroke

    I have a 60 merc that will not fire unless I squirt gas in the carbs then it stays running but bogs down, runs fine on muffs but when under load it wont let me get to WOT please help I have posted once before but never got any response or idea on this matter.please help guys

    mercury 115hp help

    I have a 115hp mercury 88 model that I think slung a rod is this motor shot completly it will still fire up on a dime but knocks:mad: and there is a hole in the intake manifold is there a chance that maybe the arm on the cylinder came apart or something? I thought if it slung a rod the hole...

    Adding a second battery........

    Would it be possible to just add another battery and just simply add it to the existing battery and battery terminals red to red black to black with a disconnect in the middle of the hot or does this need to be wired a certain way??? Would this be 24v?

    Clear coat for paint on floor?

    Want to paint over wooden floors on my boat with epoxy paint and cover it with some kind of clear coat so I can use a wash down kit but the epoxy clear coat is like $300 for 1.5 gallons does anybody have any ideas? Thanks, Stephen

    1988 Mercury 60hp throttle issue

    I just bought a used 1988 merc 60 horse that runs like a champ but while under load in the lake it boggs at 2300- 2500 RPM first of all what is the WOT RPM for this motor? and I used seafoam and got an additional 500 RPM out of it but still boggs how can i tell if it is sucking air somewhere?
