    What a corroded mess inside boat side harness. I didn't cut any of these, the corrosion had migrated even into my replacement soldered cable. Replaced with Jetunit 474-9550 harness $242 delivered. Still a lot of money for wires. Started the old girl yesterday. 😊

    Well, I use my Ryobi Sawsall with a course blade to prune trees. Change the blade for other things like steel. Try that with a mini-chainsaw 😊

    Just my thoughts. I drilled and taped the end of mine to 3/8"- 16 for slide hammer (in case it sticks) and hanging it up with an eye-screw.

    Shift interrupt switch

    Mine is the lever type switch (1979 3.0). The switch is normally open, as yours is. When shifted under load the switch is made (closed) which momentarily grounds the points so gearing can release.
