    Yeah, atleast in ontario anything with 10hp or more has to be registered, but I don't believe insurance is necessary. But this is my first time owning a boat so I'm new to the whole thing so I could easily be wrong.

    I don't have the paperwork at the moment, the previous owner is a guy my buddy knows so he told us to take the boat now to get it off the property and he would get the paperwork figured out as he didnt have the ownership when we picked it up.     Oh yeah its pretty rough but i got it for free. So im not losing much the motor alone is worth a decent from what ive seen. Definitely going to be be a complete resto project. But im thinking the fiberglass hull should be ok all the wood is completely gone but thats minor.
