Help, Twin '86 115 problems

i recently score a boat with twin 1986 115s. they both start easily and run relativly well. however, i have a coupel of issues that i am trying to solve.<br />the port engine smokes excessively at lower rpms.<br />the starboard engine leaks 2 stroke oil down the outside of the middle and lower unit and collects on the top of the lower casing.<br />any thoughts on either of these problems is greatly appreciated.<br />thanks<br />cliff hubbard

Cliff If these are v4 yamahas it could possibly be mech oil pump there should be 4 hoses going from injector pump to manifOld in front of carbs see if oil is coming from airbox if so remove airbox and ck carb throats to see which injector port is leaking you can buy one way ck valves from yamaha dealer to put in hose line.other problems could be oil linkage rod adjustment or cheap oil.ck other recent posts on same issues.hope this helps ya
