rpms?

i have a 97 suzuki 4stroke 15 on a skiff j16, i want to try deferent props but how can i tell how mant rpms the motor is turning? does anyone make a tack for this motor?

Any 12 pole tach will work. Teleflex offers many different styles.

i do not have elect start are anything. dont you need power or a battery?

You will have to have some way to power the tach, yes.

I recomend "Tiny Tach", just attatches to a plug wire and ground. keeps motor hours also. about $35 and may even be avail. here??<br />good luck,<br />M.Y.

orderd a Tiny tack but they did not know does the coil fire both plugs at the same time?
