Scott Turchin is that a bathtub? we use to have bathtub races at a local resort here. they were a blast. and some of the designs were unreal.rules were pretty simple had to use an old cast iron tub and the bottom of the tub had to be in the water.. another fun thing we had was the sink your enemy battle royal. rules there were no motors and no boat bigger than 12 foot. object was to fill the other persons boat with water till it sunk. last one not under water was the winner. it was alot of fun.

Wow, <br /><br />Nice boats, but no woodies in the bunch? This is "Rainmaker" (no explanation required). I bought this boat back in 1992, and finished it in 1994. I still have it, but I now have another project I'm working on so I don't get to take it out much.<br /><br />

One More Cast....that's some really nice water there. Can help but stare in awe when our local lakes are like than in the early morning. Sometimes I just sit and stare at the glass forever listening to the creatures around waking up for the day, listening to the distant whine of a merc, and ponder life....wondering why I don't do it more often. It's a great way to start the day.

Wow! I've been posting here for two years and I'm always surprised at the new boat pics I see. What a great bunch of boats. Cool to see some of the larger yachs too. <br /><br />Here is mine, if you're not tired of seeing it yet....<br /><br />

Mark, Lots of high dollar boats here but I just can't help but pause longer at your boat pictures. Anybody with money(or good credit) can have a nice shiny new boat but it takes pride to have a boat like yours. Thumbs up. Other boats that catch my eye for some reason are jtexas' kingfisher and ZmOz's red boat.

My 14 ft. 1968 FD Alumacraft. I purchased it new with the trailer when I was 18. It's very versatile and is my favorite and most used boat for so many reasons. Shown with '04 Mercury 40 M (the only brand with a short shaft and the last of the 2 strokes)

I agree....Mark's boat is probably one of my favorites.....I also REALLY like JasonJ's trihull. Not to say some of the newer boats arent great, because they definately are........there is just something about the classics
