Is there a method to REMOVE or disable the rev limiter supposedly installed on my 2003 Merc 8?<br /><br />I'm looking to increase the revs...<br /><br />Thanks,
The rev limiter is there to limit over-reving the engine. It is not a HP limiter. If the current prop is allowing the engine to hit the rev limiter you need to use a prop with more pitch. That alone will likely add a little speed.
