I think that my merc is an 1978 but I want to be sure the serial # is 5496031.can anyone tell if I am right?

Dragon$%^&%$#er<br /><br />It's a 1979 year. Cowling is almost the same as 78 but one has horizontal stripes.<br /><br />ps.. Stay away from those dragons.. don't know what you might catch..
