60 Bigfoots are fine the way they are. Why on earth would you want to take the cowling off?<br />Sorry...it's early. <br />My neighbor has one. When he gets up I'll ask him how to do it.
My neighbor's motor (his is a 90..I thought it was a 60...he keeps a cover over it) has a small rectangular latch near the bottom rear of the cowling. He said it's difficult to reach if you're standing in the boat.
