Ok guys, here's the deal.
1988 Mariner 115 runs great and idles good most of the time.

Sometimes though, it won't idle right and dies.
When it is where it will idle, it is at 1000 rpms in neutral and about 900 in gear.

Do I have a carb dirty you reckon?
No problems starting at all and it might go all day and idle right, but seems like it gets worse after putting around for a while like it is loading up.

I'd guess carbs SBN... ever had them rblt?
seem like she's flooding when this happens?
sticking float maybe? any gas drippin out front
of the carbs? sometimes if'n you tap on the fill
bowl with but of screwdriver, it'll unstick, but
that's a temp. fix.
good luck,
M.Y.

Re: Idle problem

No MY, no gas leakage and it has been a while since they have been apart.

Guess it's time to give them a good cleaning.

Thanks.
