Hello there I have a 33.5hp Johnson on a old Glasper, my questions is, It has 5 wires for the elc. system there are green, black, black&whait, red&white, white I know where all the wires go BUT the Black&white one it gos under the head of the motor and I can't seem to get power or ground, at power it grounds the system grounding it does nothing...<br /><br />Lost in a maze of wires<br />BigBoyMcCoy

Welcome to Iboats, McCoy!<br /><br />Post your model number to confirm, but at power it blows out an ignition coil.<br /><br />The black and black and white one should ultimately run up under the flywheel. These are connected together to kill spark and stop the motor. Separate them and you get spark and a running motor. The ignition system has nothing to do with the +12v system.<br /><br />Tell us what you find!

Thanks that helps me out a bunch, I was running the motor today with out anyway to kill it but to choke-it but now there is a "Kill switch" that does help alot..<br /><br />Thank-you<br />BigBoyMcCoy
