1996 J60TLED 3 Carb Adjustment

Sea level jets have been reinstalled.<br /><br />When making adjustments due to an altitude change from 8000 ft down to sea level, what is the preferred order of adjustment...top first ,center, bottom? All at once?<br /><br />Ignition timing should not be affected, right?

You talking about the carb flap synch. adjustment or the idle mix screws? Lightly seat the idle mix screws and back them out initially 2 1/2 turns.

Thanks, ob... You guessed it. Besides jets, there should have been no adjustment to the high speed range in order to make it run well at high altitude, so I'll set up the idle like you suggested. I've ordered OMC manuals so I can substitute research for dumb questions in the future. <br />Fred
