My 22' Sunbird Wac is ready to go. The 225 Johnson (1994) has had it's VRO system disconnected by the previous owner. Should I:
a. Leave it disconnected and premix at 50:1?
b. Reconnect the present VRO system, premix
an auxilary tank and run to see if the system
works?
c. Install a new VRO system?

Stalker

Re: VRO? Yes or No

Boy the worms are going to crawl outta this one.

Nightstalker...if the engine is running OK without the VRO...let it be.

If you decide to reconnect...Put a new pump on. Don't mess with something your not sure about and have a certifide wrench (one you trust) check it out for alarms and operation.

A new pump will be in the $250 range.

Just for grins...do a search for VRO pumps and look at how many post have been written on the subject. It just boils down to what you trust.

Good Luck.
