Does any one in this forum have a parts book for Johnson 1992-1993 30 & 40 HP motors. I need to compare the two electric starter assemblies and respective part numbers<br /><br />Thanks <br />Ksan

My NAPA parts book indicates they are different.<br />90-96 40hp oem#583482 or 585056 NAPA# 18-5624 9 tooth 87-93 30 hp oem# 58347330 or 585459/585059 NAPA# 18-5627. 81-96 bosch oem# 392133/386591<br /> NAPA#128-5629 81-96 bosch oem# 585061 NAPA#<br />18-5629.Starter pics. appear comepletely different.
