another motor identification

Can anyone translate these numbers for year and horsepower of my Johnson motor? I'm also looking for point gap and fuel/oil ratio.<br />Model #FDL-20G<br />Serial #J2698491<br /><br />Thanks for the help!<br />John

John OMC Hi I canlt place the FDL-20G The <br />FDL-19 is a 1965 the FD-20 is a 1966 FDL 21 is a 1967 I couldn't fine your numbers but I would be pretty sure is a 20 hp 1966<br />steve

Hi John<br />Your FD 20 is a 1966 20hp L as in longshaft. Use Champ J6C gapped .030 points .020 mix 50:1. Most all service parts avail from local OMC dealer or order from Napa auto parts dealer.
