what are you guys using for the cowling cover seal i have an evinrude and the seal is all cracked and falling apart

I used the blue silicone gasket sealer on mine.

did you get a new seal or just fix yours ? mine is in bad shape it crumbles when you touch it

No..,I made my own with silicone, Scape off the old stuff first make sure everything is clean and dry. Then put a bead all around where the cowling and base meet. Then bolt it on.

You can get them from your OMC dealer. $26 bucks though! I'd love to know who makes the molding, probably costs OMC 20 cents.

i was looking at some kind of window seals i have a freind that owns a glass shop i might go there tomorrow and see if he has somthing that might work
