When replacing prop I notice some vertical and horizontal movement in prop shaft. Also lubricant had a small amt water.Does this movement mean bearing replacement or will seals correct?I have no knowledge about motors or gear cases. Thanks Front
frontneck,

Some movement is normal.

I would suggest you replace the fill/drain plug seals, refill the unit and run it.

Check it again after a few hours run time. If you have water again, you should have the lower unit pressure/vacuum tested.
