How to make ear muffs for 1967 Evinrude V4 60 hp?

Usual ones don't work as rectangular inlet is on bottom of exhaust outlet flange at an angle. No doubt I can rig something up, but anyone already solved the problem?

Yes in deed someone has figured this out. You can order these flushing devices from a marine supply store.
