Hopefully she can pick up the currents in the gulf of Mexico to join the the snow event over Tampa/ St Pete from the 'lake effect' snow. My mom was renowned for morning wine btw. It's been almost 25 years.

It will long be over before I board the plane at 6 pm Sunday. Plus it will be fun deal with snow in Tampa then fly to Minneapolis and then drive home in a real snow storm

Dang Scott I have not been back to the area since we emptied the house, I really miss this area, I went to Publix in Palmetto it was like I never left. The only delay in me having a place down here is I want to keep the lake house in Minnesota, told my wife I would live in a trailer house if it was on a canal or the river down here.

Mom passed unexpectedly. Passport issues for several days that needed my congressman to get involved and a really bad ex wife already at the end of the marriage and 20 plus hours of traveling after two missed flights. Drink water and bring kleenex. It ain't gonna be easy. We will put you on our list.

My mom’s is at the Skyway memorial gardens so I don’t get to visit much. She’s been gone 16 years now. She went unexpectedly as well to me anyway. She didn’t want to worry me so she told me she was having a very minor procedure and didn’t want me to come down as I always did. She lied and it was a major procedure and she didn’t make it.
She made it 85 though and had a good life.
I still think about her almost daily.

there are a few 55+ mobile communities in Palmetto / Parish that are on the river and have access.

Penn State/Michigan Hockey on the TV now. 70,000 tickets sold, tailgating began this morning at 7 am. Outside temp was 7F. As someone who was a season ticket holder for PSU hockey for many years in the past I would love to be there but my wife said no way.
