George Foreman gone but will never be forgotten!!

Sad news when I heard Big George has passed.Boxing fans like myself got to see a lot of of great things for a very long time.God Bless you George!!! You made my day when you hit Michael Moorer right on the chin and he never knew what hit him!! I think there were about 20 years difference in age. It was a beautiful thing to watch!!! Will never forget it!!!

what a boxing era I grew up in! ABC's Wide World of Sports, every Sat. afternoon to begin with.
Now all my "great's" are gone. Ali, Frazier, Foreman. Life lessons learned from each, get knocked down, get back up. Stand up for what you believe, stay true to yourself. I've learned to work out on a heavy bag just from watching these guys, no lessons ever.
Always wanted to just shake their hands and say thanks.
And "Fighters Heaven" , Ali's restored training camp in Pa. is a boxing fan's must see.

Was a legend in his own time. Never forget him and Cosell and those comical interviews. Back in the day my father and one of his buddies took me archery hunting where Ali had that training camp. Not sure if it was on that exact property or a neighboring one. But was told Ali would do road work on the dirt access road we walked in on. I remember hoping to see him, didn’t happen.
