Went on an hour and a half drivevto a gun show in another town this nice sunday day. Noticed all the boats wrapped up and put away for their long winters nap !!! Must have saw about three dozen boats wrapped up and noticed that only two had the motor/ outdrive down into the run position !! Have always read and been told the motor needs to be stored down so water cant collect and freeze which could crack the lower unit housing !!! Many of the motors I saw today were new or newer, gonna bet a cracked housing is not gonna pass as a warranty claim !!! Just a reminder here !!!
