Quick update . . .

The boat is winterized and ready for its long nap. I was hoping to run a descaling of the raw water side of the cooling system (full closed cooling), but the descaling solution that I ordered did not come in time. So, that will be added to the list next spring for pre-season prep.

I used my boat stands under the chines to take a few lbs. off the trailer springs (triple torsion axles), and the snow load over the winter will be supported by the stands (y)

The tweaks that I made to both the main bunks and the guide posts, really helped with retrieval this year. The boat slid right on and was dead center. I still could give the bow bunks another tweak, but it is good for now.

Did you end up using any of the antifreeze that was discussed in the other thread?

I used the PG-based antifreeze for the engine and A/C unit, and the Alcohol-based for the plumbing. The PG has gotten pricey though . . . 🤪
