1992 Marine Power 454 Choke Thermostat Replacement

I have a 1992 Marine Power 454 engine 4th gen with a Rochester 4 barrel carb 17059280 My choke tstat is bad having trouble finding the replacement on the stat its self it says 3792 Any help appreciated.

a Gen V engine would not have a divorced choke. most likely your engine is a Mark 4

the choke coil is generic. just look up rochester divorced choke.

Your right meant to put gen 4 been looking online still having issues with finding one in stock that mounts up the same guess no one uses these anymore.. My local napa looked at me like I had 3 heads.. they had no clue does it matter if its marine or not?

I would switch to an electric choke (about $35) and make a block-off plate for the well.

Actually yours doesn't look bad or broke, can it be cleaned up and used?
The first part of it where the rod goes in is bent up keeps choke open when cold tried to fix it its suppose to be down more.
