What year is my boat ?

Hi, I recently salvaged a 14 foot thermolite runabout, but i have no idea what the year is, i am guessing somwher in the 70's but i would like to know for sure. Its model number is z-140-50.

Check the nameplate for a HIN (Hull Identification Number).<br /><br />And you say salvaged? If you want to put a 25hp on it (well, anything over 9.9) you're going to have to license it. I don't know how it works for you in BC, but make sure it's possible before wasting your time on it. If it was previosly licenced then it'll normally need to be transferred to you, sort of like a car. But if that's impossible there should be a simple remedy.
