Yes thanks to everyone who's listed their insight, experiances, knowledge, and share project links... a picture is worth a thousand words and those share projects are extremely valuable. :)

Re: Our own 'Thanks for help' thread

There's no way to cover all of the reading time I've put in on your different posts, but a year ago I'd never fixed any kind of boat or motor in my life. I've put floors in since then, rebuilt a couple of motors, learned from a hundred mistakes, and the list goes on. To name just a few:
Mark42, thank you for the creativity you've provided, starting with those emblems awhile back.
Boomyal, thank you for your flawless attention to detail.
JasonJ, thank you for your innovative answers.
Ondarvr, thank you for your common sense and blunt answers.
To all of you, thank you for the laughs, anecdotes, wisdom, and above all else, thank you for the encouragement.

Re: Our own 'Thanks for help' thread

I actually would like to thank everyone as well. I have learned far more than I have provided on this forum. I especially would like to thank people like Boomyal and Tengals who keep sparking my desire to evolve my project. I think about Boomyals dam thingy he built all the time, and that red engine just rocks. F-nscreename's Nova is way too cool. There are too many cool rigs to name. Its too bad there couldn't just be a pic section in the site for everybody's rig. I know we have done the "show yer boat" posts, but a thumbnail page would just rock.

Re: Our own 'Thanks for help' thread

I must say that i don't get some things. There are people with questions without anybody responds on it. Or they show pics like i do and nobidy responds. Thats not so cool so what do they do? Don't ask questions or share pictures with us. Result? The forum bleeds death and only the die harders stay on this forum and they are rare. SO Just check at the mainpage how much topics there are without reply's and than there are topic with 3 pages replied. I don't get that. Egocentric world. Everybody likes to get a little responds.

Re: Our own 'Thanks for help' thread

Bigboy, I think part of it is there is so many posts, and so little time. I personally work one fulltime job with overtime, then a second job part time in the hopes of attaining a position with that job fulltime. Combine that with household chores, and fishing, I don't have but a bit of time each day. I would imagine most others are like that. So what ends up happening is I go for the posts that interest me the most, and when I run out of time, then thats that. Every once in awhile I come across a post I wish I would have seen earlier, but it can't be helped. Its not a deliberate thing though, its just a time thing.
