Thanks for the information. I found some quicksilver high performance at Walmart but the only weight they carry is 90 weight. Is that what I should use in the foot?
as far as the noise, I found it!! The very back corners of the little blades on the alternator were were hitting the alternator bracket. At idle they didn’t but would I would increase the RPM’s I guess the blades flexed and were just barely rubbing the bracket. I took a thin washer and put on the alternator bolts to try and off set the alternator a little but it moved it the wrong way and they got worse so then I removed the washers and ended up just filing the very back corners of each blade just a little. Put it back on and it’s as quite as a mouse at any RPM. I couldn’t believe as little as these were rubbing the bracket it was making that much noise but it was. Had I not took the belt off the check the water pump and alternator pulleys for movement I would have never noticed it. So thanks a bunch guys. Y’all were a tremendous help.
