Oil Injection Removal

Hello all,

I just installed a oil injection blocking kit on my 2002 150 XR6. Very straight forward install, I just have a couple of questions on how to deal with the unhooked check valve and starboard side oil fitting on the block.

I have attached a few pictures showing the fittings in question.

What is the recommended way to cap these fittings? Can I just cap all of them with a short hose and a bolt in the end with a hose clamp?

Thank you much in advance!!

Sounds ok. I have seen on here where a short piece of hose was attached and bent over then tie wrapped to put a kink in the hose and do the same thing. On my 90 I just pulled the pump, pulled out the gear, checked for anything else that might come out and put the pump back in. Left everything else as it was including oil in the tank. That was several years ago and no problems.....I did write on my deck, near my gas fill port "add oil". I used to have to do that anyway before the days of internal oilers but the internal oilers got me out of the habit.

The fitting on the block You can simply un bolt and then block it off with a pipe thread block off from home depot..
For the fuel line you can run new line or just plug it.\
