Have u checked the engine water pump? Look for a leak there. How 'bout the belt?

The water pump or adjusting the belt tension is no big deal. Start the engine & look for a leak in the water pump. If it is leaking, it's shot. U may even want to pull it & check the vanes for movement.

the water pump should be accessible fro mthe back of it, you can unbolt the rear cover oif the pump & check the vains
