Acceptable slop in rotary steering?

My 2008 Four Winns H200 has power assisted rotary steering with some slop in the wheel. How much slop should be acceptable if any? I'd say right now it's less than 10°.

I installed my new Teleflex Safety-Q rotary system, and after torquing the bolts on the steering arm, and tightening up the whole system, I still get about 10deg of slop just from the cable inside the cable housing itself. That is something that simply can't be fixed, unless you have a tighter cable housing. I don't see telelfex changing that any time soon.
