Increasing hook capacity of bow eye?

I have a single shank bow eye that looks like the pic below. The eye is barely able to fit the end of my safety chain and the bow strap hook, which is fine for short trips however I am making a long trip this weekend and would like to add redundancy by adding another tie down to the trailer frame. However, there is no room in this eye to add another hook. Adding a larger bow eye is not an option :)

Any suggestions? Thanks.

I guess I don't follow. You basically say the bow eye isn't big enough but adding a larger eye isn't an option. Sounds like you want the winch hook and 2 safety straps. The only suggestion I would have is to hook one of the safety straps into the eye of either the winch hook or the other safety strap hook.

Sorry, let me clairfy. I'm thinking along the lines of attaching a large link or something similar to the bow eye which I would then attach the 2 safety straps to and still allow me to attach the winch strap hook directly to the bow eye. I guess I just answered my own question. :)

Why not add another bow eye, below the original. Use it for the chain and safety strap.
Use the original for the winch.

This is what I did on my current project boat, as I had full access to the interior.
