Hi,

I have just purchased a Fletcher Arrowflyte ski boat. I am absolutely new to this type of boat and wondered if anybody could explain to me all the controls.

I have attached a picture of the Arrowflyte controller. What is the big lever on top of the control box?

How do I set up the controls for starting the boat.

Any help would be much appreciated

Thanks

Re: Fletcher Arrowflyte 1988 - Throttle control unit

Posting a picture would help.

In most cases the taller lever is the throttle.
The shorter lever (if it has one) is the forward/N/reverse selector.

Is this an outboard, inboard or IO?

If outboard there should be a choke button or the key will push in for choke.
If this is so, advance throttle a little, push to choke and crank over until you hear a pop. Then start with no choke, let warm up controlling RPMs with throttle. Also make sure to pump primer bulb (in fuel line) until it is hard before starting.

Others, pump throttle one or two times to full and back, then advance slightly for a fast idle. Crank and it should start.
