1958 7.5Hp Evinrude speed adjustment settings

Have just brought engine out of a 30 year nap.
Checked out all hoses and reoiled lower unit.
Engine fires on squirted gas through spark plug ports[2 cyl]. That is about it.
Before tackling a carb cleaning, want to know the proper setting for low and high speed knobs. The choke I pulled out all the way for several tries, then closed.
The low speed has a 3/4 turn from full to closed, and the high has a 7/8.
What is the proper setting?

Low speed should be about 1.5 turns. High speed is ok. After 30 years, I wouldn't monkey around with it - clean/rebuild the carb.
