Hey, I have a 1986 evinrude 140 hp...mod-e140tlcdc... The problem I have is when changing out dry rotted gas line I broke off the nipple on the btm of my vro pump. I premix my fuel, do I need the same fuel pump? Can someone give me a link I can go to 4 fuel pumps?

I think you can convert to a pulse type pump. Try running a search and see what you come up with.

That motor will need dual pumps for adequate capacity.

Only the V-6's needed two fuel pumps for proper delivery. The 140 hp back in 1983 only had one fuel pump. Try this site or go to BRP Parts. com and look in the 1983 140 hp section. You will have to do some hose plumbing but it should work out.
