Ok here is the deal.

96 60hp Evinrude

Rebuilt the carbs today. Now my warning buzzer is going off after about 10 mins. First time it has ever gone off. The tell tale is peeing warmer water than normal. It has a brand new water pump. Good solid stream of water from the tell tale. Could it maybe one of the carbs is not producing enough fuel thus not enough oil in the cylinder causing it to get hotter than normal.

Any ideas????

WHich buzzer,
overheat or fuel restriction,?
is it in the water or on a hose?
at idle or WOT?
Is it sparking on all cyl's?
Did you try hitting the choke?
Pumping the bulb?
Try checking for spark?

It is at idle. The buzzer was long Buzz Long Puase etc.
It is on the hose.
Sparking on all cylinders and jumping 7/16 gap on tester.
Did not try hitting the choke.
The bulb remains hards and the filter remains full.

Buzzing every 40 seconds is low oil warning.

Check oil, check oil tank vent, oil filter sock in tank.
Disconnect the oil warning sensor to verify its the oil buzzer.

Disconnect heat sensor to check if its that.

I run premix 50:1
I do have the VRO fuel pump but choose not to use the oil side.

I did notice this morning that the timing is off about 6 degrees.
Not sure if that has anything to do with it or not.
