my carb screws have been messsed with and now my suzuki boat motor will not start up. there is one screw/bolt on each of the three carbs. i was wondering if anyone knew how to re-set them by tightening all the way and then loosening a certain amount of spins. thanks

Gently screw the idle jet screws in until lightly seated and back out 1.25 to 1.75 turns. Warm the motor to operating temp. Slight adjustment of each screw, in turn, observing the rpm. Screwing out slowly to where the rpm drops then screw back in until the rpm picks up should give you a setting. A lot of patience is required. Always better to be a little rich on mixture, ie, screws slightly out.
