Anyone had this problem ?
Engine starts reasonably well and runs fine after it's warmed up. The only quirk it has is that it won't re-start after you've brought it up to operating temp. Engine does not cut off, you can literally run it all day, but if you shut it off, it won't re-crank until you wait 15 to 20 minutes. After that, it re-cranks as if there was never a problem. Engine is well maintained and has about 50 hrs. max on it.

Any help on this ?

carbs rebuilt, vro replaced with std diaprhram fuel pump, water pump works well, temp on head is below 140, power pack was replaced, it seems like vapor lock - is that likely ?

I had the same issue with my Johnson 60hp. It was the power pack, which you said you replaced, but how long ago? Next time it does this, whack the power pack with a rubber mallet and see if starts. The PP can show signs of deteriation when warm, but be fine when cold.

well i don't agree with the above solution, but it could be a coil failing, and your motor is running on 2 cylinders. then you shut it off and that cylinder does not fire.
