need to know what year

i bought an older 18' closed bow sea ray and it has no title so i know basicly nothing about it(year, model, length). i have the numbers from the hull and it has a merc 302(188hp) with a merc 888 outdrive. the hull numbers are-SERM4074M74D1901010211. Any info would help. thanx

It is a 1974 based on the HIN....... do some research and see if you can find a 1974 brochure....... that is the way Starcraft people do it

thats what i was told, that it was a 1974, but all the 1974s that ive looked at online have different looking dashes. thats why i didnt know

Well considering it is 36 years old....... may have been special ordered, may have been modified, maybe a east coast/west coast edition.... who know's..... could be hundreds of reasons.

Many times when people bought boats the gauges and dash layout was left up to the rigging marina.
