throttle handel has a beep in it

last year had a new foot replaced on my v 90 evenrude motor and when run for a while a beeping alarm com from the controls and drives me nut what can this warning be

drain all gas out and motor runs good just that noise or beeping sound

is it steady or beep beep beep beep? steady usually means overheat, non steady could be low oil if its vro, low water pressure or a few other things.
