Mercruiser 3.0 to 3.7 swap ????

I have a four winns with a mercruiser 3.0 140 motor with cracked block. Found a mercruiser 3.7 liter will it bolt in what would i have to change?

Sounds like your heading Backwards !

Most logical is to find another 3.0



there are many more around and all parts are available for them..

walk away from the 3.7. Motors are not even close to the same. Go find another 3.0 block. 3.7's have some definite known problems. The 3.0 is a solid engine.

thanks guys had no idea. Anyone know where i can find 3.0 block was this block used in any cars?
