waiting for motor

I have been waiting for a month for my 2010 90hp 4 stroke mercury motor. Should I think about getting different motor or keep waiting, is it common to wait this long. I know places don't keep inventories like they used to but should it take this long.

Yes I did. He said they told him they are waiting for part. I suppose I'm jumping the gun but can't wait to get on water. I got a 2009 Crest LE with ss package, 20', 26" pontoons-just waiting on motor.
