Yesterday March 19th, my son Dave Jr. his fiance and I all went fishing at a private lake here close to home. Man did we ever tear them up! 
We caught crappie all day long. Nice big slab crappies too. Dave Jr. and his girlfriend both caught nice bass as well. It was some of the best fishing I have ever had. I bet we turned back 2 for every 1 we kept. All told we came home with 23 real nice whoppers. The weather was great, sunny and 70 degrees with a low wind. We had planned to go again today but wouldn't you know it...Cloudy, only 40 degrees and rain . So instead we had a great fish fry! I made some shut up dogs and we cut up some tatters and deep fried those crappie. Boy was it good.
