So for NYE my wife and I are doing a dinner cruise. The boat travels along part of the route we take with ours in the summer.
Neat boat too! Only burns 5 gallons of diesel per hour

We've got some paddle wheels here on the Mississippi, always wanted to try that. You can take overnight trips of various lengths but it is not cheap!

Sounds great...
Just the dinner cruise? Or are you staying for the cocktail party as well? Man 'o man those menu's have my taste-buds begging to tag along...Enjoy & Happy New Year!

FWIW, I'll probably be right here eating pizza pockets or something silly from the microwave :(

Just the dinner cruise, we like being home when amateur night starts.

Wishing I was on the water!! I visited my boat today to put the new cover I got for Christmas on :):) I set at the helm and closed my eyes and for a minute I was barreling down the lake..

Re: Really missing being out on the water

We did have fun! There was only light rain and no wind, so we left the dock. Food was great, people were great. We went up top a few times, it was a little cold but the water was beautiful.

I forgot our real cam so here's a phone shot of it at dock.

Here's a couple of the paddle wheels in action, taken with me looking over the stern,
