well I must confess, the 100+ isnt my house.... the 50 is... the 100+ is my dads business

It's optonline ultra, it's a hundred a month with a 300 install fee... he's a heavy downloader and I use his work place to back everything up to from 3 different locations, so we figured why not get a fast download it's fun downloading stuff from MS/Apple at that place.

I guess to make this test fair to everyone ....... you should pick the server in Salt Lake City Utah which would be the closest to iboats HQ

Yes.

I guess to make this test fair to everyone ....... you should pick the server in Salt Lake City Utah which would be the closest to iboats HQ

It would only be fair if everyone were the same distance away from that particular server.


That particular server does not have sufficient bandwidth for some users. The locations with a pyramid are major company servers and can support 50+ Mb/s. The ones with a star are smaller servers and will most likely limit your true speed if you have a fast line 10+ Mbit.
