I have a 65 sportwin 9.9 that starts and runs really good at all speeds for anywhere from 30 seconds to a couple of minutes. good gas, spark and start and idle all good but just won't run for long? what's happeningody ?

Can any one guide me to the cure? thanks

It's a 9.5 btw, check vent then check for spark after it dies. This running on a boat or in a barrel?

make sure the o rings in the fuel connectors arent allowing air to be sucked in,as the eng begins to die, squeeze the ball,if it runs better ,your fuel pump is a likely culprit, the age of eng.and the new gas playing hard on the diaphram in the pump might be a cause for fuelpump failure

try pumping the bulb on fuel line, while running, if it continues to run, you havea fuel problem. one of the following, air leak in fuel line, weak fuel/bad fuel pump, sticking float needle.

Leave the gas tank filler cap loose. If it doesn't quit, you'll know the vent is clogged.

kinda sounds like maybe the cork is saturated, if you've checked your fuel lines for leaks and the bulb is working fine, then I'd check the carb and do a re-build. If it's the cork, try drying it for a week in the sun and then re-coating with laquer or some other fuel/ethanol proof sealant.
