Trim master Trim tab question

I have Trim Master Trim Tabs on my boat.

Starboard side tab was not responding. I found that there was a lose wire in that absurd designed box that houses the pump and it's wiring.

OK, fixed that. Now trim tabs work perfect.

However. I found out with the help of my father that the trim tabs go down all the way in about 5 seconds. Good right?

But they take 20 seconds to retract to the up position.

Is this correct? Do they come up slower to fine tune the plane of the craft?
Or is something wrong?

And where is this dipstick the cover sticker talks about? I could not find.

Thanks,

Johnny

BTDoc,

Yes they have been out of business for about 2 years. But this is an OE install on my Chris Craft. So they must have been decent for CC to use them.

Just wondering if they should retract this slow.

Do Bennets come up slow?

fully extended to return ,mine were like 5-7 seconds.Bennets are spring loaded return ,the pump helps suck the oil back into the res.on retract.
