Throttle Problem

I have an '87 110 Johnson outboard, model # J117TLEM...

I am looking for a fuel pump to replace the VRO system, because I nol longer have an oil pump. I pre-mix my fuel. I believe the problem still lies within the VRO system, not 100% sure.

I hope you cam help me. THANKS

OMC used a conventional lift pump on some 112HP motors - part number is 0433387 with 0438556 listed as equivalent. Be careful to be sure that there is little fuel restriction on the supply lines because the conventional pumps are not as powerful as the VRO/OMS pumps.

Your engine should have surface mounting screw holes and a plugged port for the lift pump just above the pulse limiter port. If you plug the pulse limiter port and unplug the lift pump hole, you will have no problem mounting the pump.
