10 HP Evinrude Sportswin

Can anyone tell me what years did Evinrude make the 10 HP model they called Sportstwin. I know 1956 as I have one but did they use that name for any other years?

Oh, sure they used the "Sportwin" years for a Lo-o-o-o-n-n-ng time. But the 10hp Sportwin similar to yours was made from 1956 through 1963. It got a fiberglass hood in 1959-up. In 1964 the "Sportwin" was totally redesigned and became a 9.5hp.

EDIT: For example, the 1950 Sportwin was 3.3hp and nothing at all like the later 10hp. http://www.old-omc.de/e_1950/seite_10_11.jpg

If you go back far enough the Sportwin was an iron opposed cylinder motor.

Thanks for the info.
From what I could find out that 1956 was the 1st year that the name Sportwin was used for the 10 HP. The name was used for 1957 10 HP but that was as far as I could come up with.
