I inherited a boat from my father with a 68 merc 650 on it. The Seloc manual says that it takes a champion L19V, The motor currently has L76V in it, and I've seen information online that suggests L78V for this motor.
Anyone know which is the real 68 650 spark plug?
Also this motor has a fair amount of external corrosion. It sat out for the last 5 years and was not used. Any tips on how to deal with that?
